WRFI Radio - Human Rights and Social Justice Program Interview: Feb 12, 2024

February 12, 2024

The Human Rights and Social Justice Program covers a wide range of human rights and social justice issues from the local to the global. Hosted by Ute Ritz-Deutch.

Documentary photographer Daniel Farber Huang talks about the work he and Theresa Menders have been doing in refugee camps. The project of collecting portraits started when refugees in a Greek camp asked them to take their photographs, which they ended up featuring on their website The Power of Faces. Their goal was to humanize refugees and make them accessible to others. We also talk more generally about the plight of refugees.
