The Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian Studies and Art at Watson organized a panel discussion in conjunction with the art exhibit “The Power of Faces: Looking at the Global Refugee Crisis.”


This event featured practitioners working in refugee resettlement and advocacy in Rhode Island, as well as the two photographers who have documented life in refugee camps worldwide. Panelists will share their experiences and insights on the challenges refugees face and how their work helps humanize and support these communities. This event aims to foster a deeper understanding of the refugee journey and the critical efforts to assist them locally.
